This foot is for sewing cuffs on knit fabrics, skirt and trouser seams where seam should not be visible.

Preparation of machine

Needle: right needle
Stitch type: three-thread overlock (504) or three-thread flatlock (505)
Stitch length: 4-5mm
Differential feed lever: Normal position
Upper knife: working position

Sewing

1. Fold fabric and shown in sketch and place it under the sewing foot.
2. Loosen screw (A) and adjust edge guide so that needle will penetrate the fabric close to the folded edge.
3. Guide fabric lightly with hand while sewing so that needle will positively penetrate the edge of fold.
